Bavispe National Flora and Fauna Protected Area (Bavispe-Fauna)

The Bavispe National Flora and Fauna Protected Area in Sonora, Mexico is comprised of 456,382 acres of oak woodland and pine-oak habitat. Three park units protect parts of the Sierra los Ajos, Sierra Madera, and the El Tigre mountain ranges. This refuge is managed by Mexico's National Commission of Natural Protected Areas (Comisión Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas). Records within this dataset are provided by CONANP biologist who manage the reserve and many are collected using remote cameras.
